Rate Includes

  • Taxes: All prices include VAT 24 %.

Rental Conditions

  • MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD: One (1) day (24 hours). After the 25th rental hour an additional day will be charged.
  • RENTAL EXTENSION: In case, the renter wants to keep the vehicle longer than the contracted period, he will have to contact (min. 48 hours before) the Acropolis rent a Car office in order to extend his Rental Agreement.
  • DRIVERS AGE: Must be over 23 years of age to qualify for the Group A, B and over 25 years of age for all other car groups and have a valid driving license issued at least one year ago.
  • DRIVING LICENSE: Have a valid Greek, European (for E.U. countries) or International (for countries that don't belong to E.U.) drivers license.
  • PAYMENT: In case of payment by credit card, we accept the credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
  • TRAFFIC FINES: The renter is liable for the payment of all traffic fines that may occur during the car rental.
  • LOSS OF CAR KEY: In case of loss of car key during the rental period, renter is liable for following charges: 200 € for all car groups.
  • INSURANCE: Rental rate includes third party liability coverage.
  • COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (C.D.W.): Drivers are not obliged to pay damages to the vehicle should they arise, if this form of insurance has been applied. (Only the excess amount of 450 € applies). Charge is as follows: 7 € daily for Group A and 10 € daily for Groups B, C, D, E. The Renter is liable for full repair of damages caused by any violation of the provisions of the Greek Driving Code, as well as for damages to the underside of the car or the wheels and tires.
  • GASOLINE: Paid by customer.
  • FERRYING THE CAR: Cars cannot be ferried without the prior written authorization of our Main Office.
  • TERMS AND RATES: Subject to change without prior notice, with the sanction of the Greek National Organization.
